When in the CAM environment, I'd love to see the ability to window-select the fixture components. Right now, you need to individually click on each body in the canvas or the browser. A window selection would be much faster in many cases, especially for complex fixtures with lots of components.
While I can appreciate how window selection would help, it may also be of help to you (depending on how your model is structured) to pick higher-level components from the Model browser. That will include all child components implicitly.
You can also select a parent component by long-clicking on a body in the model window. This will pop up a little dialog where on the "Parents" tab you can easily see the parents of whatever you clicked on.
