I have looked through the Area and Fusion Community and seen a few other comments on this.
Maya, 3ds Max, and AutoCAD (and Poser, and Silo, and Shade3D, and Mudbox, and Brush), all have Orbit tools that allow for Orbiting that doesn't suffer from Gimbal-Lock, as it seems Fusion does (when you get a view Orbited to an angle along one axis, it is nearly impossible to alter it along another axis).
The "Gizmo" currently that appears (or FAILS to Appear, most of the time) does not give a clear and precise image of where the current XYZ Axes are, nor the ability to quickly "grip" a single axis (Plane: XY, YZ, XZ), and then orbit ONLY in that Axis.
Yes... It is possible to set constraints.
But wouldn't it be easier to just put an AutoCAD/Maya/Inventor Rotate Gizmo at the center point of Rotation (which needs to be made easier to use with Wacom Intros or Cintiq Tablets - i.e. Easier to set the center of rotation), which, instead of rotating the object, orbits your view.
