Add objects into/out of the group

Could you add the option to add or remove objects into / from a group without me needed to delete the group?

I don't understand this request.  Currently you can drag and drop bodies from one group to another.

@colin.smith Just tested it and it does not work. I can only move an object infront or after a group.

Are we taking about a group in the browser or a group in the timeline?

facepalm - Timeline group!

it is a feature I mentioned few times that moving parts in and out of groups is kinda not possible

and requires deleting a groupd first.

After the move command you can make a new group.

Having the group feature in the timeline is essentially worthless if you can't move features in and out of the group. This is another example where Fusion 360 lacks the the basic functionality to make models robust and intuitive.

I still think IdeaStation would would be better off if Iideas didn't get archived due to lack of votes. It forces users to re-post old stuff thereby cluttering up the forum.

Would have added my vote for this as well.  Having to delete a group to expand it's contents, select all the features original features along with the 1 new feature you want to add into the group, then finally recreate the group is such a pita.  Wish autodesk would do better with common sense UI things in general, this is one of those.

Being a developer myself  I understand that delivery times and new features usually get a lot more priority but as mentioned before in this same thread, being able to add/remove an object from a timeline group is a so BASIC functionality of the groups that is not even debatable...
