Issues visualizing electronic designs on new FUSION 360 version

Hello,

I just updated my FUSION 360 to the new version and I'm having problems with the visualization of the electronic designs. The mechanical design parts and assemblies work fine, but I just see a black screen (attached capture 1) where the electronics' schematic and board designs should appear (attached capture 2).

I'm running FUSION 360 on Windows 11.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Virgilio

Hi @virgilio.gomez.lambo,

I hope this message finds you well. It looks like on your machine the new graphics engine isn't working. You can fall back to the previous engine by following the directions here:
https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-electronics/workarounds-in-case-any-graphic-issue-about-fu...

If you can provide more information about your system that can help us figure out if there's a common thread with the systems that are having issues with the new engine.

Hi @jorge_garcia2,

Thank you very much for the quick answer! It solved my issue.

Regarding my system specs, I'm running FUSION 360 on an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics 1.80 GHz with Windows 11 Home.

Best regards,

Virgilio

Same problem.. I have been using Eagle or Fusion for many years. Years of Fusion development, lots of updates and still extremely many serious bugs. What kind of people do you employ? Have you ever drawn any PCBs at all? Do you have testers? Do you know what reliability and work productivity is? The releases are worse than most alpha releases of other software.

Still some problem. Problems again and again.

Hi @furaTT4KY ,

I hope you're doing well. Did you try the workarounds? We knew we were taking a risk when we replaced the graphics engine to improve performance. That's why we left the mechanism to fall back to the original graphics engine.

We tested this functionality heavily but it's not possible to cover every possible variance(especially in the Windows OS) in computer configuration.

If the workaround of falling back to the original graphics engine didn't work please let me know.

Hi @virgilio.gomez.lambo , @furaTT4KY ,

Good news that today we released new Fusion version 2.0.15995 which has a fix about the issue you reported.

Could you please update Fusion to new version and go to preferences dialog and check the checkbox to enable the GPU rendering and relaunch Fusion to take effective?

Please feel free to let us know if you have any problem about the new version.

Much appreciated.

Hope you have a great day.

Best regards,

Helen
