Simple revolve fails to create symmetrical body.  Editing the feature does allow the symmetrical body to be created.

to be honest, I did not believe you, @etfrench .  But, considering the source, I had to try.  Here is what I found:

  • the first time you do a symmetric Revolve, it works fine.  I was already to post a response saying "it works for me...", but then I went to record a screencast, and...  fail.
  • did a bit of debugging, and it seems that:  If the "last remembered value" is symmetric, the logic fails, and even though the UI says symmetric, it doesn't "stick", and uses "one side" instead.
  • If, instead, you switch to "one side", then back to "symmetric", it works again.

I created FUS-82479 for this.  I think this qualifies as "bug of the week"...
