I'm trying to do a loft through a few pretty simple sketches, basically rectangles of increasing sizes with curved corners. If I do the left through the first four sketches, starting with the smallest (left-most) one, it works just fine.
But if I add the fifth and final sketch it generates a horrendous error, saying that the loft intersects itself. I don't see how it could be doing that.
I then tried doing the loft from the other end, starting with the largest sketch and going down to the smaller one (right-to-left in the image). And although it completed the loft, it really screwed it up, twisting part of the loft.
I tried some variations but can't seem to get it to work correctly.
What do I need to do to make this work? There's actually a half dozen more sketches that this loft needs to go through, to keep everything nice and smooth, so I can't just do each section separately.
Any suggestions?
I've attached the file in case anyone cares to take a shot at it.

I seriously wish that every single dialog in Fusion 360 (and, heck in any such program) included Video icons such that clicking on one would bring up a video explaining exactly how to use the overall dialog as well as individual options on the dialog. Or at the very least had question mark icons that when clicked brought up a really good explanation of the dialog and its options.
Way back during my career as a software engineer (before the Internet, before online videos) I always made sure that explanations were easily available to those who used my programs.
Now I'm just glad that there are forums like this and people like you who put in the effort to help others.
