Engineering drawing section view - hatching patterns different for each body

Hi Everyone,

When I create a section view in the drawing environment, different hatching patterns are applied to each of the cut bodies. In a standard engineering drawing, this type of hatching would indicate that several components are being cut and not just one component. The workaround currently is to change all hatching patterns to be the same, but why is the default behaviour to hatch bodies differently? Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks

Hi,

I'll answer my own question here, as I realised my mistake.

The component I was creating a drawing for had been made using several mirror features this, in turn, had created new bodies. What I should have done before starting my drawing was to combine all bodies into a single body. Once I went back and combined all of the bodies in the component, the hatching pattern then looked as expected in the drawing.

Thanks
