What version rvt files does formit create on a360?

Hi,

I am using the latest app version of Formit on ios / ipad pro.

Have tried opening the RVT files that formit generates on a360 on my workstation and routinely get a 'cant open - this file was created in a later version of revit'.

Am using Revit 2017 at work so was surprised at this?

Question then is...

What kind / version of rvt files does the latest version of formit create?  As Revit 2016 / 2017 don't seem to be able to open them - unless I'm doing something else wrong?

Any ideas?

thanks

Scott

Hi Scott - the A360 RVT service creates 2018 files.

If you want a 2017 file you can download your AXM locally - and then import using the 2017 Revit add-in. You can download that add-in from the bottom of this page if you don't already have it!

https://formit.autodesk.com/page/download

Thanks,

Tobias

Hi Tobias - Thanks for this.
Have downloaded the axm from a360.
The revit add-in (in my revit 2017) doesn't seem to have an 'import axm' function anywhere?
Am assuming I'm doing something wrong (again!)
If you could bail me out again I'd appreciate it!

Thanks

Hi Scott - The option to import FormIt is in the Add-Ins tab, in the FormIt panel - and then in the list of the drop down - see the attached screen shot.

If you're not seeing these options in your add-in drop down... then there's something else wrong.
