What's the references of weather data in the location feature?

Hi all,

I really love the interactive interface of weather data in the location feature. Just wondering what the source(s) is that you feed the data into this function, especially regarding to the locations outside of the U.S. Would you reach out the local climate administrations for retrieving them?
