Am I correct in assuming, once I have created an array, I cannot change the number of elements? I have come up short in my linear array, to fix this, I need to recreate the array or is there a better solution in this instance?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You are correct - FormIt does not have that feature to 'update' a previous arrayed object (like in Revit).

There are parametric objects you can use in FormIt (via Dynamo scripts). Otherwise, you'll have to use Groups and manually copy them.

Here's a blog post with ALOT more information, as well as examples and samples of the Dynamo + FormIt workflow

Thanks,

Tobias

Thanks for the info Tobias.

The link may need updating though, currently showing a 404 error.

I see what happened with the link - there is an (invisible) space at the end of the URL in the message - if you copy and paste it into a browser it works.

Here it is without space
