I created a basic building but I cannot change the main elevation. With the new push and pull tool I can drag buildings upwards but not downwards.

If you activate the move tool, you should be able to press the key "TAB" to toggle to a vertical move mode. There should be a description in the bottom of your screen that explains this but we have received feedback that this is hard to notice.
Did you manage to do it now?

yes, but it is very counterintuitive. i think i've mentioned this before.
Why don't you have the Building Elevation parameter as you already have it already for other types of buildings?
