Warranty Request and Tracking

Warranty Request and Tracking

Our company pride ourself on taking care of the client during the warranty period just as well as during construction.  We have recently started tracking our warranty through a product called Maintain X, the cool part of this product is that each location (project) has a unique QR code that the client scans, they fill out the request, can upload pictures and documents for us to either accept and assign to the subcontractor, they can comment on work completed and upload pictures OR we can deny it and turn it into a chargeable work order. It would be AWESOME to track warranty for our clients like the punch list.  The punch list gives so much more opportunity to identify exactly where the item is and this is missing from our current software. The real feature is the client able to quickly scan a QR code to start the warranty request and tracking!

I am just trying to understand more about your workflow and your ask. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
- You've setup a functioning workflow on warranty information with multi-party acceptance and rejections on a third party platform. (maintain x)
- You're wondering if its possible to create a feed from maintain x into forma Issues for tracking purposes.

Honestly, I would like to forgo the use of a separate program and have Autodesk be able to accept requests from a client thought the use of a QR code.  Just brief logic: QR code is generated from Autodesk, this opens a form , this form completed by the client (not neededing a login) than connects to a Warranty List, the data input into the form is held until it is approved by our team as a warranty item, this could be viewed like the punch list that can link to the plan set for location.  But we also need the availably to deny the warranty request as it could be an out of scope item that can be turned into a change order or even a separate contract (not interfering with close out of the main contact, especially retainage) for items such as these. I appreciate having our data in 1 location, but also understand the value of third party platform integration's.

I am happy to talk to someone and share our current process.
