Using IFC Space class

Why is it not possible to make the IFC class space visible?

This IFC class is so important for early cost calculations.

It allows to determined areas for floors, ceilings, and walls  very quickly and efficiently.

So the idea is to please make the IFC class space visible and selectable.

I want to be able to select all the rooms (IFC-space) in a model in take off module.
Furthermore, I need to select all basequantities, if available, for the floor, walls and ceiling.
Currently, the rooms are listed in the structure but are not visible in the model.
