There is currently no way to download the latest version of the the entire spec book. You need to download each spec section individually. We would like the ability to select and download multiple spec sections at the same time.
Seriously though what is to point of downloading only a portion of the project- Many of my larger sites do not have good cell reception and my supers need to remember to download each spec section they need to access. They have enough going on in the field already
It should download with the rest of the project like sheets does.
Also please note that many engineers utilize an intentionally blank sheet at the end of each spec section. ACC does not recognize these pages while importing specs, even though the section number and page is at the bottoms. Nothing like assigning 200+ blank pages to their appropriate section on a 3500 page specification package.
The default used to be for the entire Spec to be downloaded. A recent update changed this to where you need to download each sub-Section, manually. Not even each Section, it's each sub-Section.
They want to treat it like Files, download what you need. Which I can understand, but you need to give us the OPTION like Files to download everything or choose what to download. All, Section, sub-Section.
I'm surprised this isn't a feature. It's crucial. What they also need is the availability to only download the most recent versions of each section when downloading them all at once.
Just uploaded all my specs including addeundums hoping to download it all, only to find out I have to redownload everything individually. Please give us a feature to download the entire spec book too and quickly.
It would be helpful to be able to select specific spec sections to download to a mobile device so a site with limited or no internet could at least have high priority sections available via auto updating when a connection is available.
The same feature that is available for Sheets needs to be available for Specifications. The sell of the program is that I can quickly access the latest and greatest documents. This feature is absolutely necessary!
