When I saw that we could "easily" make Read Only and Hidden Parameters with the Parameter Service, I was excited. I thought a good use for the Read Only parameter would be one that we want the user to see, but not be able to manipulate.... turns out no one can manipulate the parameter. In the Family Editor, we cannot change it in any manner that I can find. I can see the parameter, but there is no way to manipulate the value of the parameter. I can't enter a formula or anything in the Family Editor.
I thought it would be great way to input URLs for end users to use, but not be able to change.
Please make the Read Only function in the Parameter Service tool function how we would expect.
