Based on our current building projects process, I would also like to submit a suggestion for improvement:
The functionality in Forma Build already includes the option to integrate a QR code for equipment/attachments, which is an excellent feature.
However, many construction companies—especially smaller contractors—still work on-site with printed plans (PDFs). We expect this practice to continue for several more years. Typically, only larger companies with substantial work packages interact with Forma directly. This creates a common issue on the construction site: "Is the printed plan I am holding currently up to date?"
Some competitors offer solutions where drawings include a QR code. When scanned with a smartphone, it queries the app to check whether this is the latest version. This could likely be implemented within the Plans section of Build. When construction drawings are transferred from Data Management files, a QR code could be automatically added. This QR code could also dynamically apply only to the latest version, so scanning it immediately confirms that the physical copy is the current and valid version.
