Dear Autodesk Team, As a frequent user of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), I’d like to request a feature enhancement that would significantly improve field documentation and traceability for site activities. Feature Request: Enable GPS metadata capture and export for forms and embedded photos within forms. Current Limitation: While ACC allows GPS data to be included in photo reports, this functionality is missing when photos are embedded within forms. This gap limits our ability to accurately track the location of form submissions and associated visual evidence—especially critical for compliance, inspections, and quality assurance workflows. Proposed Enhancement: Automatically capture GPS coordinates when a form is completed on a mobile device with location services enabled. Include GPS metadata in form exports and reports. Allow users to view location data within the ACC interface (e.g., map view or coordinates). Optionally tag photos within forms with GPS data, similar to standalone photo reports. Use Case: As a Project Coordinator, I rely on forms to document site installations, inspections, and progress. Having GPS data embedded would: Improve accountability and traceability. Support location-based analytics and reporting. Enhance coordination across teams working in distributed or remote environments. I believe this feature would benefit many users across construction and infrastructure projects.
