Fabrication parts/additional properties on the ACC NWCs/NWDs model properties viewer

The issue:

Currently if you open an NWD or NWC in the ACC model viewer and click on an object such as fabrication ductwork, there properties are severely limited. This essentially makes the properties useless to the field crew.

Proposed solution:

Add additional Revit properties to the properties viewer in the model viewer on ACC. This way, the field team can click on any pipe/duct and easily find exactly all the information that will be useful to them. This will save the MEP detailer an immense amount of time during shop drawing production since the shop drawings won't need as much information. Some essential properties include:

• Size
• Elevation (top, center, bottom and should be referenced from the reference floor that it is in Revit)
• Length
• Fabrication service
• Weight
• Slope
• Family/part name

Basically mostly everything that is able to be viewed in an NWC in Navisworks should also be able to be viewed in ACC Model Viewer.

Resolved by changing selecting to "first object" in ACC model settings rather than "leaf". However there are still issues involving property accuracy. See this thread:

For Fabrication insulation it gives absolutely no information except workset. It therefore CANNOT be color coded from Revit and downstream.
