Currently, hitting the Esc key will deactivate a section plane/box, which is very frustrating when other Autodesk workflows rely on pretty heavy use of the Esc key, mainly to deselect objects. Personally, I usually mash the Esc key in Revit when I need to deselect something because there are often times when it takes multiple presses to close out of any messages or active commands, etc. I can picture the frustration and resistance for non-BIM personnel who are usually just trying to view something specific in the model and have to keep redefining the section box every time they accidentally hit Esc.
