Currently, ACC only allows you to remove a naming standard from a folder. However, it is not possible to assign a new naming standard to a directory that already contains files.
In project work, it often happens that a naming convention changes slightly and existing files need to be renamed to comply with the updated standard. At the moment, this process in ACC is very time-consuming and inefficient:
A new empty folder has to be created
All existing files must be manually moved into this new folder
The files then need to be revalidated against the new naming standard
Proposed Improvement:
It would be extremely helpful if ACC allowed users to directly replace or update the naming standard of a folder, even when files are already stored within it.
This feature would:
Save significant time during project work
Reduce manual effort and the risk of errors
Improve workflow efficiency for teams handling frequent naming standard updates
