Display Revit Version as a standard column in ACC Docs

Display Revit Version as a standard column in ACC Docs

Currently, identifying the Revit version of a project or file in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is not intuitive. Users often have to hover over icons, check the "Revit Cloud Model Upgrade" settings, or try opening the file to find out the version.

I propose adding a dedicated, permanent column in the Files (Docs) tool that explicitly shows the Revit Version (e.g., 2024, 2025, 2026...) for all .RVT files.

Benefits:

  • Prevent accidental upgrades: Quickly identify if a file matches the team's working version before attempting to open it.
  • Improved Project Management: Admins can audit large projects with multiple models at a glance to ensure version consistency.
  • Time-saving: Eliminates the need for "trial and error" opening or checking deep administrative settings.

This simple UI addition would significantly improve the user experience for BIM Managers and collaborators who handle multiple projects across different Revit releases.

Same @ignacio_martinezillera !

This is universally relevant information. It should be straightforward to provide.
- Upgrading versions happens every year
(now it needs to happen because of automated version deprecation - goodbye 2022.. goodbye 2023...)

- Every project has a version

- Every team needs to know what version they're in

- Every office uses this information to plan upgrades

You don't need to control the version from the dashboard, just seeing it is the first step.

Maybe later on "upgrade" from the dashboard would be nice, but at least being able to export the information to excel is good.

My workaround for knowing what's going on with versions, I join every single cloud project in my office, and then have two different year versions open to see which projects show up in each browser to know which projects are in what version. Such a workaround...

Thanks @handjonathan for pointing out this board..

Agreed, would be great if it was an optional column in the projects tab of the home page.  This would be a great way to easily and quickly identify the release of Revit being used on a project, or identify projects that need to be upgraded.
