Digital Signature for Review Approval Workflows

Introduce the ability for approvers to digitally sign PDF documents and drawings directly within the Docs review workflow. This feature would allow users to add an electronic signature to a file (similar to functionality in standard PDF readers) before approving it. 

Proposed Functionality:

• During the review process, approvers can open the document and insert their digital signature directly on the PDF.

• Optional validation: prevent approval or progression to the next workflow step unless the approver’s signature has been added.

Benefits:

• Increases accountability and traceability in the approval process.

• Reduces the need for external PDF editing tools.

• Ensures that only verified, signed documents move forward in the workflow.

• Streamlines document control and compliance processes.

I would support this very much, My business would move from SharePoint to Doc's if this was a feature of Autodesk Docs.

This would be truly necessary, as in Germany we have a large number of formal requirements and documents that must be legally certified and signed. The same applies to certified stamps issued by authorities or checking engineers.

Also sign multiple documents as the same time e.g. for large numbers of blueprints

This is very much needed! We currently digitally sign in Bluebeam Revu, via Desktop Connector. But this creates a new version which doesn't align with the Review workflow, as the approved file will be the version selected at the time of the Review creation, not the latest one by the time all reviewers have added their signatures. Perhaps an "update all" button could be added to the final Approval stage? just like when Send back to Initiator has when creating another round.
