We export specific assets into an Excel file, where the data is further processed. Since the export includes a very large number of columns (all existing custom fields are included in every export), many of these columns are irrelevant for the assets being edited. As a result, users delete these unnecessary columns in Excel. However, after re-importing the file, the values corresponding to these deleted columns are also removed from the assets. Missing headers and their associated values are treated as empty fields and are therefore interpreted as “zero,” which leads to the deletion of existing data. We expect these values to remain unchanged and not be deleted during the import process.
