Compliance File Renaming
When vendors respond to our contract requests, they’re required to meet a compliance requirement by submitting their project-specific Certificate of Insurance (COI) with the contract.
Upon receipt, we currently have to download the COI, rename the file, then re-upload and save it in Compliance Files. This is necessary because vendors use a wide variety of file names that often don’t clearly identify the document as a COI.
This additional download/re-upload process is time-consuming and creates an unnecessary administrative step.
Requested Program Correction:
Please modify Compliance Files to allow users to rename a file upon receipt, without having to download and re-upload it.
This would make the COI immediately identifiable while eliminating an unnecessary manual step in the contract-compliance workflow.
Or, is there a possibility to make a workflow that automatically downloads files and sends them to an email so we can rename and upload, skipping one of the steps of downloading?
