Business Units for ACC

Our office executes dozens of projects for several clients every year. It would be very helpful to segregate the projects by client, and even by site for those clients. The Business Units feature in BIM360 seems like it would be a good tool for this need. It would be helpful to also to have that as a sortable field on the Projects homepage.

I have been raising this for 2 years with Autodesk, it is a significant gap in the project set up which makes filtering, analysis and reporting more challenging.  This is exacerbated by the fact that we assigned BUs to our projects in BIM360 and having migrated to ACC we lost this functionality.

We also have a big need for this as it was a integral part of our process in BIM360 and now in ACC.

You can still achieve it on acc by using the BIM360 admin page but this is a workaround and not a solution

Our organization needs a supported, scalable method (API or Autodesk-assisted workflow) to bulk update Business Unit metadata across hundreds of existing ACC projects. The current one‑by‑one UI workflow is not feasible at enterprise scale and impacts downstream reporting and governance.
