Allow Meeting items to be converted into tasks or issues with assignees, proof and status tracking

In ACC Build Meetings, it is currently possible to create meeting items, add assignees, due dates, attachments and references. However, the assigned meeting item does not work like a task or issue with a clear workflow, status tracking, proof of completion and follow-up before the next meeting.

Requested improvement:
Please add the possibility to create an actionable task or issue directly from a Meeting item.

Suggested workflow:
1. During a meeting, the organizer creates a Meeting item.
2. The organizer assigns one or more assignees.
3. The organizer can choose “Create task / issue from Meeting item” or “Assign follow-up work”.
4. The assignee receives a notification and can respond before the next meeting.
5. The assignee can upload proof, comments, photos or documents showing that the action has been completed.
6. The task/issue status should be visible directly in the Meeting item and carry over to the next meeting or follow-up meeting.
7. The meeting organizer can review the response and close the item when completed.

Why this is important:
Meetings often create action points that need to be handled before the next meeting. Today, these follow-up actions are not fully connected to a structured task or issue workflow. This creates extra manual work, makes follow-up harder and increases the risk that actions are missed.

Business value:
A direct connection between Meeting items and actionable tasks/issues would create a seamless workflow between meetings, responsibilities, documentation and completion. It would save time, improve accountability and give all meeting participants a clear overview of what has been assigned, what has been completed and what still requires action.

This would be especially valuable for construction projects where meeting decisions often lead to practical work, documentation requirements and follow-up actions that need to be verified.

This is a great idea. This improvement would also help us significantly when working through meeting items and the tasks that result from them. We rely heavily on tasks, so assigned meeting items (which are essentially always tasks) should definitely be treated as tasks.
