Red Dead Redemption Rockstar Version APK - Integration Issue with Design Review?

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a personal project exploring the integration of interactive entertainment models with ACC for visualization purposes. It’s a bit of an unconventional approach, but the idea is to see how complex, high-fidelity models from gaming environments could be leveraged for real-time architectural visualization and walkthroughs.

I've been trying to use a particular set of assets, detailed here:
https://sites.google.com/view/red-dead-redemptionapk/home

However, I'm running into a persistent issue when trying to bring these models into the Design Review module within Autodesk Construction Cloud. It seems to be a compatibility problem, but I’m not sure if it's related to the file structure or something else entirely.

Current Situation:

  • The model data is quite complex, with a lot of environmental and character assets.

  • I’m experiencing a consistent failure during the processing phase in ACC Docs.

  • No specific error codes are being generated, which is making it difficult to troubleshoot.

What I've Tried:

  • Attempted to simplify the model hierarchy before uploading.

  • Checked the file paths for any non-standard characters.

  • Searched the forums for similar issues with large, unconventional model types.

Has anyone else here experimented with integrating non-traditional 3D models into ACC? I'm wondering if there's a specific workflow or a conversion process that I might be missing. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’m really keen to see if this kind of cross-industry application is feasible.

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi @bil_ipaclivaire

I would look at the file types, it may be that these are not supported by the platform.
