Option to Prevent Syncing a Project

We have a few projects with a lot of data in them. It would be great if we could prevent staff from syncing those projects with the desktop connector. When someone does sync, their computer can't complete a sync on that project before the next cycle starts, and eventually, the computer becomes unresponsive or crashes. The only solution seems to be copying out files that haven't synced yet to another folder and using the Reset utility to place the desktop connector back to its initial state.

There is not way to actually prevent syncing with desktop connector. Since 2023, Autodesk has integrated Autodesk Docs with the Revit application. This means you don't even need Desktop Connector anymore (it is still useful for files other than Revit models!). I would encourage opening workshared models via the Autodesk Docs module on the Revit start page.
