Hi Parker,

after installing this Module, when AutoCAD is imported into FlexSim as background, a few bugs are found as following:

1. unit scale issue. My AutoCAD unit is millimeter, but units convert (from millimeter to meter) in FlexSim is invalid.

2. line color and text of AutoCAD disappears in FlexSim.

@Walker huang

Can you email me the drawing file or attach it in a private post? We can then try to replicate these issues and see what we can do to resolve.

Hi Parker,

how could I send drawing file to you?

Sorry @Walker huang, I forgot to include my email address in the first reply. Please send to parker.standing@autodesk.com.

The release notes for Adskinterop 25.2 fails to declare that it only works with Autodesk titles (Vault, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault) 2026, and if those titles must be installed BEFORE installing Adskinterop.

Paul, do you know that they must be installed before or you are asking the question?

Because I have that same question.

Autodesk products do not need to be installed before the Adskinterop module, they can be installed afterwards.

To utilize the full FDU functionality available in 25.2, for instance, to open a layout in Inventor or AutoCAD that was created in FlexSim, you will need the 2026 version of FDU and associated products.

We will update the documentation to reflect this information.
