How to combine material retrieval requests in AGV process flow?

Hello,

I have a question is that, every 5 minutes, the processor sends a request for the AGVs to go to the source, pick up the items, and deliver them to the processor. If multiple processors on the same path send requests simultaneously, the AGV needs to go to the source to load the required quantity of items at a time for all the processors on that path and then transport them to their respective processors. For example, if there are 3 processors on a path and 2 of them send requests simultaneously, one AGV needs to go to the source, pick up the two items, and then deliver them to the respective processors.

Currently, we plan to use advanced AGV process flow, but I'm not sure how to incorporate the above requirements into the process flow and how to configure the processors to send material retrieval requests every 5 minutes.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

You should find that if an AGV has capacity it will consider the other pickups when it arrives at the respective work points.

The best thing is to test it out and post your model here if you get stuck.

Hello @qoie200011,

What you are asking to do can be learned from completing our tutorials and understanding how the AGV template works.

In the AGV Advanced Template in the Main flow you will see one of the activities says "Do I have capacity?". This decision point checks to see if the AGV has the capacity to load another item and if it does then it checks if there is an item to load at that CP.

To change your AGV capacity just select it and change the value in the properties window under the tab Task Executer.

And I also wonder if it's possible the processors pull item in a random time intervals when the simulation start? Because I need the processors to start pulling request in a different orders.
