Exit on Conveyor not showing

[ FlexSim 25.0.1 ]

I have read that there is supposed to be a white rectangular with arrows on the end of the conveyor to make connection points. I am unable to find this visually on my model. I need to connect conveyor to a processor while using operator transport. Ctrl s and ctrl a did not work for connecting from conveyor to any object.

Please hold key "A" while draw a line from a conveyor to an object. automatically the white square gets established once you ends drawing this line at the destination object.

Hi @20millgk,

Here are a couple of other things you can check to see if they are causing issues with the conveyor exit transfer. The first question is if there is a connection line between the conveyor and the processor? If so the transfer may be hidden. To unhide the transfer, right click on the conveyor and at the bottom of the drop-down menu select conveyor system properties. Once the properties window has opened check to make sure that the show Transfers box is selected.

If that is not selected the transfer will not be visible.

You can also check to see if the processor or other fixed resource has an input port connection from the conveyor/exit transfer by looking at the processors port connections.

The last way to check if a transfer is created is to look in the model tree. To open the tree select the tree button at the top center of the FlexSim screen. Then look for an exit transfer in the list of items in the model.

If none of this works, we will need to see the model you are working on in order to help you any further. You can always change this question into a private question if the model has information you can't share publicly.

Thank you for the response. There is no connection line, this is what I am struggling to create. The "show transfer" is selected in the conveyor system properties. It is not shown in the input port of the processor. I am unsure how to create this connection, I can share the model.

Hi @20millgk, can you please upload the .fsm file. A picture is not going to be enough to help us figure out what is going on.

Just to check, can you try connecting with this button on the toolbar?

In your original post you mention using "ctrl A" and "ctrl s" to connect objects. Please note that to create the connections you just need to hold down "A" or "S"- no control key.
