[ FlexSim 23.1.0 ]

Hello,

Please, how do I solve this problem while trying to run my experiment? An error that reads, 'exception: Experimenter No child cloud nodes specified' shows below the system console. What is the root cause of this error? How can it be resolved? Thanks.

@Vyk_k , we do need more information. You can attach a picture of the complete console text, because often you see more than that what you posted. The faulty model would be even better, because we can see which events leads to this error.

Thanks, @Joerg Vogel , for your response. Here is the attached picture of the console:

That is the only information on the console. Please, let me know if the whole faulty model is still required, and I will send it.

You need to configure the cloud computing nodes:

You also need to configure those cloud nodes and ensure that the FlexSim webserver is running on those machines and that the same version of FlexSim is installed on those machines.

Here is some documentation on this process:

https://docs.flexsim.com/en/23.1/GettingData/AdvancedDataGathering/RunningJobs/RunningJobs.html#clou...

Here is a walkthrough article from a few years ago. A few details may be out of date, but it should get you started:

Alternatively, if this model was built by someone else and configured to use distributed CPUs on their cloud nodes, but you want to run the experiment locally on your machine, simply clear the Use Distributed CPUs box on the Experimenter's Advanced tab.

Thanks @Joerg Vogel, @Jordan Johnson, it's now resolved. I just restarted my computer, and the errors ceased. I appreciated your leads. Next time, if restarting my computer doesn't fix the problem, I'm going to reference these contributions.
