run basic macro

is there a bug on the latest version of featurecam for running macros? Everytime i click on it , featurecam freezes.

Have you tried to run as administrator?

(right click FeatureCAM shortcut > run as administrator).

@craig.shipley No i did not. I contacted autodesk but they told me the same thing. To run as administrator. When i do that, featurecam opens but it wont let open any file.

Usually if you are running as administrator and you try to open a file from the network it will not work...

So run as administrator, open a local project (desktop perhaps) or even just create a new project, then run your addins and then on the HOME tab hit "save now"

I think I know what this is and it’s permission related but as I have finished for the day I don’t have access to my cases...

I can see you have a case open for this so I have added myself onto it.

If you could please reply to the case email when you're in work, then perhaps I can connect you your PC using Team Viewer and take a look myself?
