If you have Solidworks installed, selecting Native in the import options may allow translation through Solidworks.
If not, you will most likely need to use Exchange for this translation. You can check what versions of file types that are supported by the AMDEU by opening it in standalone.
As you can see by this image. It looks like it is not officially supported yet. Probably in a update sometime soon. However, those files still may translate into FeatureCAM without issue.

Yeah... I came to ask if you actually meant SW 2000, or if that was a typo.
What Chris pointed to is bang on. 2001-2021 for .sldprt files.
If you are asking for when 2000 files will be supported...I'm not sure. I'll try to dig around a bit. I know nothing about the specifics of what sets a 2000 file apart. If we haven't included it in the ATF in 20 years, I would guess that there's a good reason, but idk to be honest. I'll try and find an answer if that's what you're after.
As always, I recommend just exporting parasolids from SW whenever a compatibility issue arises.

Yes that was a mistake, SolidWorks 2020 is what I meant.
Lol, I thought you were referring to Solidworks 2021 file support. Guess I should read more closely.
Hope this helps anyway ![]()
