Customizable BOM for Factory Assets

Currently it seems that factory assets can only show up as one item in a BOM in a factory assembly. It would be nice if the factory assets at the base level could have their own editable BOM that would transfer over to an assembly. 

Many factory assets we use have multiple items in the bom that need calculated using parameters. These assets are not modeled as assemblies to save on file space and simplify assemblies while they still have many different items that need to be on the BOM.

Thanks for raising this idea. Would you please take a snapshot of the current bom and maybe a sketch on how you would like it to be? How would you like it to be structured? what information would you like the BOM to display?
