We create separate profiles for each job, which we map to with a different MAP.INI,NC.INI,CADINFO.MAP,etc , turning them into an isolated database. (You have all the different jobs listed within your configuration Screen).
At times, there are global changes to the main database what need to be pushed out to all of the individual profiles. Currently, you have to export the content needed from the global / main database, then switch to the other profiles to import the changes.
Can we get an an import / export database feature added to the configuration screen? Within this dialog we would need a drop-down menu that would list all of the profiles with check-boxes listed. This would allow you to check which profiles you would like to import the changes into.
When you have 10-15 databases you need to update, this process can take 15-20 minutes using the old method, rather than a few minutes with this new improvement. Over time, this would save a lot of time. Especially when you are making global changes frequently.
