V-cut layer behavior

Hi there,

JLCPCB asks for the V-cut indications to be in the outline file of the gerber files. Since Eagle won't let you draw intersecting lines in the dimension layer, I created a new layer for the V-cut lines, and then added it in the cam processor to the profile output file.

But by using a newly created layer, I loose the behavior of the dimension layer, meaning the warnings when there are vias/holes/components too close to it or trimming the copper planes to the chosen isolation parameter.

So the question is: Is there a way to give this behavior to my 'V-cut' layer?

Thanks in advance,

Alex

Hi @Anonymous ,

I hope you're doing well. Unfortunately, it's not possible to pass those properties to the v-cut layer. The best I can recommend here is to leave the v score features last in your design that way you can take all copper features into account when you draw them in.

Wish I had better news.
