Hi Karel,
You cannot use a v7 license with v8 unfortunately. EAGLE now requires a subscription based license to enable the Standard or Premium licence limits. I don't know if you have tried v8 recently, there are an awful lot of fantastic new features in EAGLE now, 8.3 through to 8.7 have been really focussed on adding long sought after functionality so we are getting a lot of new stuff for our license money now.
