update for intuitive and effective works to interactive action Sch to Brd ?

Hi, 

I'm curious that there is any plan for switching between sch and brd?

I mean every time I select parts for searching where they are. I should use SHOW command or icon.

I think It should be more intuitive like other tools.

It should be highlight in Brd when components are selected in Sch and working reversely also.

I'm wonder that this is on the list of upcoming update?

I hope this is on the list of critical points

Hello,

If you have dual monitors or an OS which supports multiple desktops then SHOW will cross link between the SCH and BRD already (it has for many years). I think the issue is if you are using the buttons in EAGLE to switch between the two editors then it loses the highlighting at this point.

An alternative is to use my showPart.ulp from my Utilities library which you can find here:

This will add context menu entries when you right click on parts in the schematic or board to take you to that part in the other editor.
