Suggestion: provide always running drc that unobtrusively updates the status bar

It would be nice to have a DRC that's always running in the background (perhaps slowly) that live auto-updates the bottom status bar. This way if I have a clearance issue, a non-offensive warning can toggle on in the status bar so I know I have something to fix based off a recent route or change. Sometimes I find myself making a change, running drc, making a change, running drc, over and over again because I'm trying to do some really minor movements and not sure when I will have proper clearance or not. If the status just updated automatically each time I moved something, that would be useful at times.

Hi Samy,

I hope you're doing well. You are on fire lately, keep it up. I think with the planned improvements for EAGLE routing engine this suggestion wouldn't be necessary. You will always have to option to manually route and break the rules. However, with the obstacle avoidance engine that is being worked on, EAGLE will make sure that you don't break a clearance rule. We have other plans for the use of live DRC so keep your eyes peeled.

In any case I'll report your suggestion to the devs so they are aware of it and can make a decision.
