restricted on copper pour only

Hello.
I can't find a proper explanation to how to remove copper from a pour
What you end up with when you make a "line" square on layer 41/Trestricted is what i need BUT it still gives restrict errors when you got traces going between the restricted part and my copper layer
How do you remove a part of a copper pour/polygon area without having restricted errors in Eaglecad?
There gotta be a trick right? Or is this one of those things that Eaglecad just does really badly? I'm getting really tired of these stupid small issues..  And no pressing "Approve" is not a fix, that is just like applying duct-tape.

Read the manual or help on polygon pour and pay specific attention to the "Cutout" pour mode. If you want a section cut out of your flood then that's the way to do it.

Finally figured it out.
I wish somebody would just have pointed specifically out that you'll have to put the polygon on the layer that you wish to add copper cutout in..
For people searching around for a solution:
- Put a polygon around the area you wish to add cutout on and the layer is supposed to be top, bottom or whatever layer you wish to add it to
- Right-click the polygon - Properties and find "Polygon Pour" and set it to cutout..

Btw referring to Eaglecad manual is like referring to a bing search. Just finding the newest version is a pain in the butt, the version you see when you Google "Eaglecad Manual" is for version 5..
Anyways thanks for the help!

The manual (the latest...ish version) is installed on your PC along with the application. It's not that hard to find.

Hi @decee.server,

I hope you're doing well. Just for completeness, you'll find the manual under Help > Documentation.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
