Minimum Through Hole Contact Size? (Help)

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I'm having some difficulty designing a through hole part in my custom library. I have two through hole contacts that are very close together (as required by the pin layout of the part I'm using), and so the two holes need very narrow contact rings around each hole. The part looks fine in my library, but when I import it into a board, the contact rings get wider. I can't seem to figure out why this is.

The attached screenshot shows the same part in the library view and in the board. Does anyone know why they are different?

Thanks so much!

Found the problem - it is the restring functionality. This sets a minimum ring width to the entire board. It can be adjusted in the DRC panel (even if you are not using DRC otherwise).
