Hi everyone,
I have been trying to create my own parts in Eagle and know I am creating this microphone following the recommendations suggested by InvenSense https://www.invensense.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/DS-ICS-40300-00-v1.1.pdf (Page 11)
However I tried to create but I am getting a lot of DRC errors (dimension, clearance and width) so I would like to know what is the best to way to create this kind of parts in Eagle?
Thank you so much
https://www.snapeda.com/parts/ICS-40300/TDK-InvenSense/view-part/ has a part
but if you are getting drc errors then either your drc isn't set properly, or your board house can't make it if you're using their recommended drc settings. so probably best to show your DRC
I don't think the problem is with your DRC rules, as @charliex2 suggests, but rather with the annular ground "pad" made from four separate polygons. Eagle is picking up one of them as overlapping the pad but then seeing problems with them. I've not used the arbitrary pad shapes for that sort of case, where you need a hole in the middle of the pad, but I think you need to draw it as a single polygon.
