Hello,

Layer Stackup and Material Selection:
Decide on the number of layers for your flexible PCB. Common options are single-sided or double-sided flex.
Choose the material for the flexible part of the board. Polyimide (PI) is a popular choice due to its flexibility and thermal stability.
Consider adding a stiffener layer if needed (for connectors or components).
Specify the layer stackup in your design rules.
Component Placement:
Place components on the flexible PCB layout. Ensure they don’t stress the flex area excessively.
Use tear-dropping (tapering of connections) to prevent stress concentration.
Routing:
Route traces carefully to avoid sharp bends or tight corners.
Use curved traces instead of 90-degree angles.
Maintain proper clearances between traces and pads.
Design Rules:
Set up design rules for minimum trace width, spacing, and via sizes.
Define rules specific to flex areas (e.g., minimum bend radius). yourtexasbenefits login

Hi @nehachaurasia1998,

I hope you're doing well. The thickness is going to depend on what your manufacturer can do. For now, there is not tools to help you do flex circuits so you'll have to do it manually by using custom layers. It's not too easy, but possible.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
