Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for visiting our forums! We don't currently have an official EAGLE certification, however it is something we would like to do at some point.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for bumping this thread. At this time I don't have any update to report, however your posts show that there is interest in such a certification. If anything changes on this front we'll post to this forum to announce it. In the meantime feel free to ask for an update whenever you wish.

Hello @simonet103,

I hope you're doing well. No updates on this at this time. We still don't have a certification program.

Hello,

After one more month there isn't any updates on this matter. I guess that, what Autodesk has not developed in 3 years (since this thread first message) won't be done in this short period.

It would be useful, for us professionals, to know if Autodesk intends to create a certification for the Eagle PCB product in the foreseeable future.

They probably won't. I just took the class on Udemy and it was enough to
learn the basics and everything else I just tinkered with and learned on my
own. Is it professional? No. But I did learn just enough to get hired only
to learn another software for work. So I'd call that a win.

If eagle are looking for  partners to run their certification program, i work at a FE college in Glasgow, Scotland and we currently run lots of other certification programs  for cisco, microsoft, orcacle, etc.. and are a testing centre for all of them. I teach  students how to use eagle as part of their HND and  feel  a certification program  would be very useful for this product like the ones for other products. It shows  potential employers a level of competence.  I also feel that it would not  be too   difficult  to develop the requirements.   I also feel this  would be a good move  by autodesk as their product is used in the world skills competition.

Slightly off topic but when will  the new version of  ngspice be supported and when will you add  more  basic models such as 555 timers, SR  bistables etc to those available. As  at least with the new version it supports pspice compatibility, i know you can manually upgrade it but this is not supported by Autodesk.

@dball5A3KK i hope you are well, we currently don´t have a Certifications for electronics available but do you happen to know the WorldSkills UK Industrial Electronics Competition ?  https://www.worldskillsuk.org/competitions/industrial-electronics/

We are currently moving the Competition to Fusion Electronics. Did you happen to have a look at Fusion already ?
We do have Fusion 360 Certifications available via Certiport / Prodigy which might be the Certification provider you are also using for Microsoft  https://certiport.pearsonvue.com/Certifications/Autodesk/Certifications/Certify.aspx#Fusion-360

Im aware of fusion and that eagle is now classed as part of the suite, and at the last meeting I attended for the electronics world skills UK we were discussing eagle, not fusion, will this fusion certification cover pcb design and manufacturing
