Hey,
today I wanted to use the EAGLE as I used to. I opened my project and tried to push it to Fusion 360. But I got the following error:
"Initializing push to Fusion took too long, please try again"
What is the issue here? This is now blocking my work. It is really annoying, I just paid the yearly, increased, subscrition fee. And it is useless for today. I cannot work on my project.
I restarted the EAGLE, restarted Fusion 360. Tried to push the design like 5 times.
This is a relatively complex, big project. Usually the pushing data takes ~40-60 sec. So it is really slow, but it was working. I am wondering, if any recent update introduced any timeout on update, and that causes failure on my project to update.
How can I fix it?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @4ckatro,
I hope you're doing well. I've reached out to the developers to look into this.

Hi @4ckatro,
I hope you're doing well. Quick update, the devs responded. The server is experiencing a slow down they are working to fix it and will have it resolved soon.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
Best Regards,
Thanks for the response! Now it is working. Seems like it had an issue with the servers.
I am also having issues. I use fusion to update my 3D models. I followed the same process I have in the past and now I can't see any models in Eagle. When I push my board to fusion I only see the default boxes. I have tried to troubleshoot by unlinking the library from fusion and relinking to a new library but I got an error 449? (maybe 494?) message where the server terminated the transfer.
Hello @sara_connerJNF96,
I hope you're doing well. Could you elaborate more on what you did? I figure you linked to a new 3D PCB and not a library. You can't really unlink an entire library without replacing all of the components that come from that library in a design.
Best Regards,
Lets take the part 0858-0-15-20-82-14-11-0. I have used this on a previous board and had the 3D model render on the board model.
In Eagle I can no longer see the 3D model.
on library.io I see this
In fusion I go to 'new electronics library' then open library manager. Navigate to my desired library
Red: managed on library.io
Black: new fusion linked library
Blue: old fusion linked library
I select the red but it opens the black (due to being linked I assume). When I select that part I see all components (footprint, symbol and 3D package)
If I push a board from eagle with components that I see have a 3D mapped model in fusion they do not appear on the fusion board model.
Again this process has worked for the past 2 years, but if there is a step I'm missing I would love your advice.
I did some more digging. It appears that the models are corrupted on library.io. The red error message reads "This model could not be translated, it might be corrupted. ID43034653"
I hope you're doing well. I'll ask our developers to check this out. What I think can throw a kink in the works here is the existence of blue and black. You really should only ever be using black, but if in a design you have parts referencing blue then those won't get the latest footprints and it leaves a lot of room for confusion.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
Best Regards,
The developers are asking how those 3D models were generated? Did you use the package generator or some other means?
Best Regards,
We are dealing with some issues with our servers. This process should work, it looks like you are doing everything correctly. We are investigating.
If you stay in Fusion, the Fusion type libraries are all you need (black arrow). But syncing with library.io and using the library.io type library is necessary to share data back with eagle.
Hi @sara_connerJNF96 ,
After talking with Chris, we are suggesting that you try pushing to library.io again from your Fusion library (the black one).
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
Best Regards,
