Design rule error unexplained

Anonymous
Not applicable

I get a clearance error and I cannot find the cause for this error.

The clearance is 0.2mm and the DRC allows 0.15mm. Why is there an error reported?

I have attached the screendumps

The screenshot looks like you only get this on a few pads, yes? One common cause of this is if the nets associated with those pads have a non-default net class that defines larger clearance requirements.

That said, you're using a non-standard palette which confuses me a little as to what's what. The highlights (which I assume are the DRC markers) are a slightly odd shape. It also looks like perhaps there are some layers that are hidden? Worth a look on them.

Thanks a lot. It was indeed a netclass that was applied to some nets. I don 't know how that could happen because I did not assign a net class to those nets.

But anyway, Problem is solved.
