Circuits.io unable to crunch file

Hello everyone,

I am in need of some serious help. I have a project I am working on and I cannot upload my circuits from Eagle to Autodesk Circuit.io. Autodesk circuits.io says it cannot crunch the file. I have tried using up to date Chrome, Firefox, IE, and Edge and I am running the latest version of Eagle as well. I have to get this fixed fast! Any ideas? Oh and I have also tried clearing all of my cache and browsing history and loading the files up in a private tab but that still did not work.

Hi @davidl10,

I hope you're doing well. This type of error usually pops up with large files. If you are just trying to get manufacturing data then I would recommend producing the gerbers and drill file on your local EAGLE machine.

Please let me know if there's anything else i can do for you.

Hi davidl10,

Do you mind giving the 'Save Copy for EAGLE 7.x...' function a try? The Make button might be having some trouble parsing some recently introduced features.

Save the design as a v7.x file (this creates a copy without references to managed libraries and other 8.x features), open it in EAGLE and hit the Make button.

The Make button should now generate Gerber output and renders without issues.

Thanks,

Ken
