Hi Jim,

You've posted up in a public forum, so you may wish to remove your phone number from your post, it's up to you.

With regards to generating Gerber files, have you loaded up an appropriate .job file for the CAM processor? If so can you firstly attach a screenshot of the CAM processor so we can see what's going on and maybe attach the .job file too? Also, how many layers is your board?

In the CAM processor you have to set up processes for each layer you wish to output. Each of those processes should have selected the items relevant for that layer of the Gerber. I suspect what is happening here is you have your CAM processor set to output all the layers in one process.

Post up the info I asked for above and I'm sure we'll be able to get you sorted out.

Best Regards,

Rachael

Hi Jim,

I strongly recommend that you edit your post and delete your phone number. No need to be getting unnecessary calls at all strange hours.

I made a 3 Minute Video regarding making Gerber files, seems you might be using a CAM job that is not properly configured.

The manual is in the EAGLE\DOC folder, follow the instruction beginning on page 303. Instead of using gerber.cam, use Gerber274X.cam.  Don't worry about the Aperture Wheel file and the Drill Rack file when creating the Excellon outputs.

Please 'accept as solution' if my reply resolves your issue.

Best Regards,

Ed
