Stretching Dynamic Blocks with Objects in Model Space

Don't know if this is even possible.   We are trying to Stretch Objects/Dynamic Blocks in Model Space using Stretch Command, but we need to be able to stretch both at the same time.    The reason behind this is our Dynamic Block has Extrusion Type and Length included, but we are having to adjust the Dynamic Block after Stretching the object to align with holes on our Object.     We then Data Extract Ext. Type/Length so that there can be a Cut List per Extrusion loaded in our Tiger Stop, making it easier for the shop to prepare for Panel Releases.   If this isn't feasible, are there any other options.   I've attached a DWG with our Panel and Dynamic Block.   Please HELP.

Thanks,

Hi,

Welcome to Autodesk AutoCAD forum.

Not sure if I understood you requirements. Is this what you wanted?(see attachment)

I'm probably not explaining correctly.    We aren't able to use the Stretch command within Model Space to Stretch both Object and GripPoints of the Dynamic Block so that both grow/shorten at the same time.   It would save us the time of having to back back and align the Grip Point with the Holes.     There was a Post on the Forum back in 2013 that says "not possible", and maybe still isn't.

Have you checked the drawing which I had attached?

I did.   It still is only Stretching the Object, not the Grip Points.

Are you using the command "STRETCH" on the dynamic block? this will not work hold the linear grip and try the pull you will be able to see that I object (hole) would stretch on both the side. Have I got this wrong again? If so try to post pictorial example of what your trying to achieve, so that I can help you out.

The STRETCH command will not have any effect on dynamic blocks other than to move them.

I think people would like for the stretch grips in the model space to be receptive to the stretch command instead of clicking to activate and then to move them. This is so that an assembly of dynamic blocks could move in unison due to a single stretch command in the model space. If this behavior is somehow implementable then it would be greatly appreciated to know. Thank you.
